Dr. Kim Curtis

DC, LMT, PTA

Myofascial Release Therapist

FOCUS: Myofascial Release • Chronic Illness • Complex Medical and Neurological Conditions • Holistic Wellness

What happens when we stop looking at the body as a collection of separate parts and begin understanding it as an interconnected whole?

For Dr. Kim Curtis, this question has shaped more than 15 years of clinical practice and her approach to healing, movement, and wellness.

With a diverse background spanning physical rehabilitation, massage therapy, chiropractic care, and functional neurology, Dr. Kim brings a unique perspective to the practice of myofascial release. Her extensive experience working with medically and neurologically complex individuals has strengthened her appreciation for the intricate relationships between the nervous system, fascial system, movement, and overall well-being.

Specializing in the John F. Barnes Myofascial Release Approach, Dr. Kim combines skilled hands-on techniques with an individualized, intuitive, and integrative philosophy of care. Rather than focusing solely on the location of discomfort, she considers the body as a whole, exploring patterns of restriction, movement, and function that may contribute to pain or limit quality of life.

Dr. Kim earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree, graduating cum laude from Life University, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Clemson University. She is also a licensed massage therapist, physical therapist assistant, and certified Master Practitioner and Coach of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. She is currently working towards licensure in chiropractic as she continues to pursue postgraduate education.

Throughout her career, she has cultivated extensive specialized training in myofascial release, clinical neuroscience, and functional neurology, reflecting her commitment to lifelong learning and understanding the complexities of the human body.

Central to Dr. Kim's philosophy is the belief that healing is not something done to a person, but a process in which each individual can actively participate. She strives to create a compassionate, supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and encouraged to approach their healing journey with courage and curiosity.

Through education, connection, and individualized care, Dr. Kim seeks to inspire hope, encourage self-discovery, and empower clients to pursue greater comfort, mobility, and well-being.

Hope. Inspire. Empower. Thrive.
