Dr. Tomko is a registered Naturopathic Doctor. She strongly believes that a holistic and integrative approach to health and well-being is the best model. Her approach to chronic and debilitating diseases revolves around improving diet and lifestyle accompanying conventional pharmaceutical treatment to give patients better outcomes and quality of life.
The focus of her practice is in the areas of Type I and Type II Diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease, Metabolic Health, Autoimmunity, and Gastrointestinal Complaints.
Dr. Tomko obtained her naturopathic medical education at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. She also holds a master’s degree in Sports Nutrition and Exercise Science from Marywood University. Prior to becoming a naturopathic doctor, Dr. Tomko worked as a personal trainer and exercise physiologist in both a private studio and hospital setting.
In her spare time, Dr. Tomko enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, crafting espresso drinks, and ‘horse-playing’ with Duke the dog (as well as her cats Danny and Freddie).
