Kellen Nyemb
E-RYT 500
Yoga Instructor
Kellen is an E-RYT 500 yoga instructor with over a decade of teaching experience. She first discovered yoga as a college track and field athlete while navigating a new diagnosis of Crohn’s disease. What began as a way to reconnect with her body grew into a lasting appreciation for the way intentional movement and breath can create space to feel both grounded and strong. Kellen has been in remission since 2014, the same year she became a yoga teacher, and her own experience continues to shape the compassion and intention she brings to her teaching.
Kellen’s classes are thoughtfully and creatively sequenced to invite students to slow down, connect with their breath, and move with awareness—all of which she encourages them to carry off the mat and into their lives. She inspires students to listen to their bodies, stay curious, and find a version of the practice that meets them where they are.
With a background in both yoga and strength training, Kellen values movement that supports the whole person. Her classes balance mobility, strength, and mindful movement while leaving room for stillness and reflection. Whether someone is brand new to yoga or has practiced for years, her goal is to create a welcoming space where students can step away from the noise of everyday life, reconnect with themselves, and leave feeling more grounded than when they arrived.
Outside of the studio, Kellen is a personal trainer and lifelong lover of movement. She enjoys strength training, cooking, reading, spending time outdoors, and life with her husband and daughter.
