What is an Esthetician?

Estheticians are lovers of all things skin! Their extensive training in advanced skin rejuvenation techniques enables them to address an array of skin conditions including but not limited to eczema, acne, and aging. Estheticians can offer dramatic results with non-invasive techniques such as chemical peels and microdermabrasion. If you're looking for immediate anti-aging results with more invasive tools, take a look at our Endocrinology and Medical Aesthetics service.

What can esthetics do for you?

Estheticians address all skin concerns but primarily focus on facial skin care.

Many patients seek esthetic care for the following reasons:

  • Acne

  • Wrinkles

  • Age spots

  • Graceful aging

  • Skin analysis

  • Eczema (we encourage you to combine treatments with our ND)

  • Unwanted hair growth

What does it look like to work with an Esthetician?

Your first session with our Esthetician will leave you with a clearer picture of your skin's underlying problems. A magnified analysis of your skin's "problem areas" offers you and your clinician with a solid foundation. Moving forwards, your esthetician will formulate appropriate treatment steps (both inside and out) to help you reach your beauty goals. This may include a variety of techniques including, but not limited to: Chemical peels, dermabrasion, LED light therapies, botox, and home treatments.
